Sunday, June 23rd, Tom Sarmento, mechanic for The Dukes of Hazzard’s bright orange muscle car shared his experiences working on the CBS show from 1979-1985. 317 General Lees were used on the set and only 17 are left!
Tom was introduced by our President, Beverly Dawson. We thank Jane and Mange Campbell for arranging this program.
The audience loved hearing about Tom’s adventures working on the show and were treated to clips of General Lee’s jumps, some over 200 feet!
