Our last summer program was on Sunday evening September 16th. While waiting for the sun to set, our audience was treated to a newsreel and The Three Stooges. By then the feature film from 1930, Abraham Lincoln, staring Walter Huston was ready to roll. An insect chorus of crickets, cicadas and katydids added to the sounds of summer along with an occasional airplane and the passing of cars down Waukegan Road.
