R.J. Lindsey Portrays Daniel Burnham at our Annual Meeting

On Friday, October 23rd, actor and historian R. J. Lindsey portrayed Chicago architect, Daniel Burnham. Topics he discussed included the Chicago Fire, the 1893  World’s Columbian Exhibition, the Chicago Plan of 1909, and his innovative buildings in Montauk, Monandnock, Reliance, and the Rookery. The event was held at Grandpa’s Place in Glenview, Illinois and many of our members attended!
