The house and grounds were donated...the intial restoration and furnishings were completed long ago...the coach house library is built and paid for.
So, why are we asking you to join the Society? We need your help to provide programs of historical and educational interest...building and grounds maintenance...operation of the library...and additional historical artifacts -- it's as simple as that.
The generosity of the Glenview Days Association, the business community and civic-minded citizens have combined to bring the Glenview Area Historical Society, its museum and its library to a professional level. The Society's Center at 1121 Waukegan Road in Glenview offers something for everyone -- the young and the old -- the antique "buff" and the serious antiquities scholar -- and all in warm and friendly surroundings.
